So my mom and I went shopping to get the bigger things that I needed for my trip the other day. Now for those of you who read this blog and have not met me, let me fill you in on something....I am the dictionary definition of a girly girl! I don't do camping, sports, or outdoor activities. So to find myself in Dick's Sporting Goods camping section trying to decide which sleeping bag and mattress I needed was quite interesting! I got all sorts of fun unKellynlike things shopping! To name a few: a raincoat, a sleeping bag, a self inflating air mattress, walking sandals, a backpack (I actually got this earlier!), and a nalgene bottle.
The funny thing is when I got home and my mom and I were looking at everything that we had bought, I realized that almost everything I bought was green! Now green is one of my favorite colors, but for everything to be green! The people on this trip are going to think I am obsessed with the color green!
